One feature of most interior designs that makes designers fear that AI will take over their work, and why they shouldn’t.

Over the past two weeks, I have been exploring the topic of using AI in interior design. Today, I came to this conclusion.

We are surrounded by repetition.

As a result, interior designers have become accustomed to creating designs that meet certain requirements but lack individuality.

What happened?

We have forgotten about uniqueness.

Individuality is a key element of interior design. And yet we limit ourselves to using the same solutions, colors and materials, which makes our projects indistinguishable from each other.

What can we do about it?

AI can help us find it again.

AI is not able to deliver what is most important in interior design, which is individuality and emotion. AI can help in the design process, but it will never replace human creativity and inventiveness.

What are the advantages?

AI can free up our time for creativity

It is just a tool that can help in creating designs. The true beauty and uniqueness of projects comes from our imagination and creativity.

Used wisely, AI will ultimately help us design better.
