Important advice for aspiring 3D modelers in Sketchup.

Are you starting to use SketchUp?

First, disable the transition animation.

This will save you a lot of time.

For the first few months, I was thrilled with the automatic animation of the transition between saved scenes.

While impressive, it quickly became clear that it contributed to distraction and wasted time.

Turning it off allows me to focus on the task at hand.

Use Sketchup professionally.

Disable the Scene Transitions.

Go to View > Animation > Settings and uncheck the appropriate box.

Your saved scenes will be loaded immediately, so you do not have to wait.
