1 trait we all have in common and if you understand it, you can manage your time much better.
There is one thing that affects every person on earth.
I do not mean the end of our lives.
It does not matter if you are a businessman, scientist, athlete or interior designer. You, too, are struggling with this.
Limited resources of willpower.
Your ability to make decisions is like a muscle. But even if you know how to exercise it, it will eventually tyre.
So what if it does?
The muscle analogy can help you
When you go to the gym, you use your leg muscles. If you have to walk for a long time, you get tired. It’s similar with concentration.
Before you reach your desk, you make dozens of decisions. The longer you walk, the more decisions you have to make along the way.
What can you do about it?
Use this knowledge to your advantage
All you need to do is:
- Do the most difficult tasks when you are rested — the sooner the better
- Break down really big tasks into smaller, more manageable tasks
- Take regular breaks and get enough sleep
Be a creator in the morning and a manager in the afternoon.
